"Turn Up The Radio" Remix Bundle Listed On Amazon.com

It's not available for purchase yet, but Amazon.com has listed the "Turn Up The Radio" digital remix bundle on their site. From this listing, we have official confirmation that it will be released August 7th in the USA, and that the track listing is as follows:

1. Offer Nissim Remix (11:57) (note the extended time length! the promo mix that was sent out was shorter)
2. Martin Solveig Club Mix (5:31)
3. R3hab Remix (5:41)
4. Madonna Vs. Laidback Luke (3:23)

The bundle should be available at all other digital outlets as well (iTunes etc.). I have not read anything about an international CD single yet, but hopefully the tradition will continue as we most likely won't get one here in the U.S.A.

More "Turn Up The Radio" Remixes

The Martin Solveig and Laidback Luke Remixes have been digitally delivered to DJ's now. These two will be part of the digital remix bundle to be released early next month. Listen to them HERE.

Chart News: Week Of 8/4/2012

A bit of good news this week as MDNA climbs up a few spots to #7 on the Dance / Electronic Albums chart and is also the Greatest Gainer this week! Also, as we all know, "Turn Up The Radio" makes its formal debut on the Club Play chart at #39, which is a pretty good start! (By comparison, "Girl Gone Wild" debuted at #46.)

TURN UP THE RADIO
HOT DANCE / CLUB PLAY: #39 (Debut)

DANCE / ELECTRONIC ALBUMS: #7 (Up from #16)

"Turn Up The Radio" Remix Bundle Out August 6th

Madonnatribe is reporting that the "Turn Up The Radio" digital remix bundle will be released August 6th (Probably August 7th in the USA, since the 6th is a Monday. But then again, with Interscope's habit of releasing singles on Fridays sometimes, who knows. Either way, it's coming!). The following versions are to be included:

- Offer Nissim Remix
- Martin Solveig Club Mix
- R3hab Remix
- Laidback Luke Remix (feat. Far East Movement)

So it looks like the Richard Vission, Leo Zero and Marco V Remixes will remain exclusive to the Smirnoff digital remix EP's due to licensing. The video is now available on iTunes for purchase.

Madonna's Paris Show Streaming Live Today

Unless you're a Madonna fan living under a rock, you should already know that Madonna's concert at the Olympia in Paris is being streamed LIVE around the world today in just a few hours! There are rumors floating around that the show will be altered for this smaller venue, including changes to the setlist (I've seen "Beautiful Killer", "Take A Bow" and "Je T'aime...Moi Non Plus" mentioned), but I guess we'll have to wait and see!

"4 Minutes" Passes 3 Million Sales Mark In Digital Sales

According to Paul Grein's 'Chart Watch' column:

"4 Minutes" by Madonna featuring Justin Timberlake tops the 3 million mark in digital sales this week. The 2008 smash is by far Madonna's best-selling digital hit, but Timberlake has had two bigger-selling hits: "SexyBack" (featuring Timbaland, 3,959,000) and T.I.'s "Dead And Gone," on which he was featured (3,120,000). "4 Minutes" reached #3 in April 2008. It was Madonna's highest-charting hit since 2000's "Music."

"4 Minutes" is currently certified Double Platinum by the RIAA. This news means that the single is now eligible for a Triple Platinum certification.

Billboard.com: Hot Tours

Though her album "MDNA" has been a relative disappointment since opening at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 359,000 sold in its first sales frame (75% of its total to date), Madonna continues to be one of the world's top touring draws.

The Material Girl tops Billboard's latest Hot Tours ranking with the first box office totals reported from her massive MDNA Tour that launched at the end of May. Ticket sales revenue from the first 11 venues on the tour schedule totaled $49.5 million from 417,448 sold tickets. The tour began in Israel on May 31 with a crowd of 33,457 in attendance for the first performance. The inaugural concert was held at Israel's largest football venue, Ramat Gan Stadium in Tel Aviv with revenue topping $4.3 million (US$). Following the tour opener in Israel, Madonna made her first concert appearance in the United Arab Emirates with a two-show stint at du Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on June 3 and 4. The Box office gross was $8 million (US$), tops among the 11 concert engagements included in this week's tally.

Quote, Unquote: Björk On "Bedtime Story"

"I wrote the lyrics with Madonna in mind. When I was first approached to do it, my instinct was to say no. I respect her, but it just didn't feel right. Then, the lyrics just sort of popped into my head. I thought of a collection of words that I have always wanted to hear Madonna say. 'Let's get unconscious, baby.' Then I formed the song around those phrases." -Björk

Madonna Rules Billboard.com's 2012 Mid-Year Music Awards!

From Billboard.com:

"Madonna proved to be 2012's ultimate pop star in Billboard.com's Mid-Year Music Awards poll, which let fans weigh in on their favorite artists, songs, albums and performances of the first half of this year. After voting ended on Friday (June 29) and the hundreds of thousands of votes were tallied, Madge was declared the winner of the First-Half MVP trophy, edging out upstart boy band One Direction.

Madonna, whose 12th studio album "MDNA" was released last March, highlighted the first half of 2012 by performing at the Super Bowl halftime show, scoring another No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and getting involved in a war of words with Lady Gaga. In Billboard.com's poll, the pop superstar snagged the most votes in the Best TV Performance category; the third-most clicks for best Billboard 200 No. 1 Album; and an easy win in the Most Memorable Feud category. Her appearance alongside electronic star Avicii at Ultra Music Festival was also named Best Festival Performance in a romp."

The Immaculate Collection (1990)

Update: Justify My Love on Top Music Videos

Having just learned that the Top Music Video chart used to be a bi-weekly chart, Justify My Love's run on Top Music Videos is now complete. Top Music Videos remained a bi-weekly chart from 1985 to 1994, when it was converted  into a regular weekly chart.
